Week 5 & 6: The End

The past two weeks at RSI have been a whirlwind of activity and emotions. The final weekend before the last week was pretty stressful due to the submission of our papers and slides. This intense period of preparation is why I'm combining these two weeks into one blog post.

Despite the stress, this experience has been the coolest ever. I've made so many new friends and enjoyed countless amazing experiences. I am grateful to my sponsors and the support from FBK Bern, the René & Susanne Braginsky Stiftung, and the Fritz-Gerber-Stiftung. I also want to extend my thanks to my mentors and all the RSI staff for their guidance and support throughout this journey.

The last days were a blur of writing papers, preparing slides, presenting our research, and spending quality time with friends. The days were packed with mentorship sessions, lectures from distinguished professionals, and engaging activities that made this experience unforgettable. We had the opportunity to learn from experts in various fields, including Professor Lauren Ancel Meyers and Dr. Bryn Adams, which added value to our research and personal growth.

The practice presentations with TAs were particularly helpful, allowing us to perfect our delivery and receive constructive criticism.

In between the academic rigor, we also had some time for fun. Events like the Swanky Casino Night, the Photo Scavenger Hunt, and the RSI vs. PROMYS Ultimate Frisbee match were highlights that provided a perfect balance to our busy schedules. These activities helped forge strong bonds among us, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

As we approached the final days, the focus shifted to perfecting our presentations and preparing for the RSI Symposium. The sense of camaraderie and mutual support among all the participants was very nice. Despite the pressure, everyone was eager to help each other, share tips, and offer encouragement.

This journey has not only been academically enriching but also a time of personal growth and fun. If anyone is interested in my research, feel free to contact me here. Thank you once again to everyone who made this possible. This experience has been a transformative one, and I am excited to carry forward the lessons and friendships from RSI into the future.
