This past week at the RSI was packed with activities, mentorship sessions, and talks. As we work on our research projects, our schedules have been very busy, leaving little time for rest.
We started Monday with a full day of mentorship, which was really helpful for our projects. In the evening, Tom Leighton, CEO of Akamai Technologies, gave a talk that was very inspiring. The day ended with a counselor meeting and bedcheck.

Tuesday was another day of mentorship, followed by dinner at Baker House Dining. In the evening, we listened to Franklyn Wang, RSI '17 alum and Chief AI Scientist at Two Sigma, who gave an interesting talk about AI. The day ended with the usual counselor meeting and bedcheck.
On Wednesday, we had mentorship during the day, followed by dinner and a movie night watching "Twisters." The evening included the usual counselor meeting and bedcheck.
Thursday was busy with mentorship and a tutor meeting for the staff. In the evening, we enjoyed the Talent Show (Part 2), and some of us even had Ultimate Frisbee practice late at night.
Friday was a full day of mentorship and dinner, followed by a talk by Karim Atiyeh, RSI '06 alum and Co-founder/CTO of Ramp. The evening wrapped up with a counselor meeting and a special weekend group bedcheck.
Saturday was intense with the Second Milestone Presentations from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Guests like Dr. John Rickert and River Grace evaluated our progress. After the presentations, we attended the Mercury Orchestra concert at Sanders Theater. We didn’t get much sleep as we worked on our second milestones the entire night.

This week has been very important for our research projects. Realizing that only one research week remains has been a wake-up call. Many of us, including myself, are slightly behind schedule and need to intensify our efforts in the coming days.
Despite the busy schedule, the learning and experiences have been invaluable. We move forward, knowing that every moment counts as we approach our final research week...
